Villa Otium

an unique concept:

 (Otium (latin): leisure, free time, well-deserved rest, rest with dignity…)

Talking about a resort, a guesthouse or a vacation home doesn’t matter, as we offer a service tailored to each.

Our purpose is to give everybody (friends, families, the younger generation, companies, etc…) their own relaxing space in the beautiful surroundings of the Belgian Ardennes, where they can fully be themselves and feel thoroughly at home.

building and infrastructure:

This brand new building (in a U-shape) has a total surface of 700 m², of which we let 550 m² to our guests. 

 All the spaces accessible to our guests are on the ground floor (except the reading area, the bedrooms of the duplex suite and 1 sleeping room in the main building). Guests in wheelchairs will be able to move around anywhere else without any trouble.

 In the main building you can find :

4 bedrooms, each with private terrace (except the one on the 1st floor) and bathroom (one of them is equipped for guests in wheelchairs), a lavatory, an internet corner, a fully equipped open kitchen, a storage room, a dining area for 22 people, a huge living room with an open fire place and big HD flat screen with DVD player (soundbar), and a mezzanine with reading area. Wireless internet is available in the entire building.

 In the secondary building, you can find :

3 bedrooms with private bathroom and covered terrace, as well as 1 duplex suite (with 2 bedrooms) with private bathroom, lavatory, living room with TV and DVD player and covered terrace.

All our bedrooms are equipped with a luxurious box spring bed or a designer bed (single bed : 90 x 200cm, double beds : 180 x 200 or 180 x 220cm), TV (except the sleeping room on the 1st floor in the main building, and the 2 sleeping rooms of the duplex suite), a safe, a wardrobe, a private bathroom with bath and shower or (open walking) shower, wash basin and private lavatory (closed). Some rooms also contain a desk. 2 of those rooms are connecting rooms.

 In the third building you can find : our spa with: a big sauna (12 persons), a relaxation area, changing rooms, showers (for 4 persons), as well as a closet and a table-tennis.

 All our bedrooms, the living room, the dining room, kitchen and wellness area are equipped with air-conditioning.

 Centred within these 3 buildings you’ll find the big outdoor heated swimming pool (minimum open end of April till begin of October) with sundeck and relaxing long chairs, an outside shower and 2 terraces (one of the terraces has a luxurious Jacuzzi for 6 people). The garden with swimming pool, terraces and lounge is completely fenced with a completely wooden fence of 150 cm height.

 All our buildings are independent, but are interconnected by a roof structure.

 The views all around the buildings are full of waving, open and breathtaking landscapes.

 We offer free parking for up to 18 cars (of which 2 covered). 

 Round the back you can discover our landscaped gardens as well as an outdoor kitchen. 

 As a matter of safety all our buildings are fitted with the latest in fire detection.

You can smoke everywhere, except in the sleeping rooms.
